Nathan Murphey

Nathan worked as a Project Manager for Stadler Custom Homes of San Antonio LP from 2004 thru 2015. He played an integral role in the success of Stadler Custom Homes of San Antonio LP and throughout the years has maintained a work in progress inventory of $6,000,000 – $10,000,000 at any given time. Nathan is very successful at professionally managing homeowners, trade partners, budgets, schedules, and all aspects of custom home construction. Any homeowner that has worked with Nathan will tell you that he is the best builder in San Antonio.

Deron Stadler

Deron graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management from Brigham Young University in 1995. From 2001 thru 2004 he managed the construction department for Stadler Custom Homes LLC. In 2005 Deron and his brother Ray started Stadler Custom Homes of San Antonio LP, which focused on building custom homes in the San Antonio and surrounding areas. At the end of 2014, Deron sold his ownership in the company, and in 2015 partnered with Nathan Murphey to start Evolutionary Homes.

Ryan Murphey

Ryan retired from serving as the Vice President of Facilities & Data Center Operations of Peer 1 Hosting after 11 years of service in 2015. While working in this capacity, Ryan was responsible for a $75M annual budget to build and maintain data centers and offices for the company in North America and Europe. He was responsible for the build out of new offices and data centers along with the certifications and operations of existing facilities. Ryan has extensive knowledge in commercial construction and information technology.

OUR 9 STEP BUILD PROCESS

Step 1: Getting to know you

Our first step is to listen, learn and understand your needs, expectations, dreams and concerns when approaching a new home construction or remodel project. We want to understand what you love and what you hate so that you move into a home that you will love for years to come.

Step 2: Visit the lot(s)

Our next step is to visit the site of your new home or remodel. This allows us to understand how to best design and build your project to maximize your lot, views and your lifestyle.

Step 3: Meet with the designer

This is where the fun really begins. We can recommend a number of trusted, talented architects/designers who best match your personality, design style and budget. Or, if you already have an architect, we’ll work together to design and build the best possible home, for the best possible value.

Step 4: Architectural design

Once your architect/designer has been selected, our focus shifts to pure creativity. You’ll enjoy seeing your home come to life in renderings and drawings illustrating your vision. Once again, Evolutionary Homes facilitates the process, collaborating with you and your architect/designer every step of the way

Step 5: Breaking ground

You can feel the momentum building. This is our final step before we’re ready to break ground on your new home or remodeling project. We review all the construction blueprints, construction documents, allowances, and the interior design plans to ensure your dream home stays within budget. At this point we will also agree on the project’s final timeline — start to finish — then, begin construction!

Step 6: Begin personalizing

The fun continues. Now it’s time to define the interior and exterior design elements of your new home including light fixtures, wood selection and furniture placement. We will help you define furnishings, color palettes and styles and encourage you to design with what you love. We’ll lead the way, allowing you the freedom to shop and create on your own. Or if you prefer, we’ll bring in one of our trusted interior designers to assist with the selection process.

Step 7: Constant communication

During the construction of your home or remodeling project, you’ll have a front row seat to each step, regardless of your location on the globe. You’ll be in the know thanks to our innovative online technologies with weekly progress and status reports. Prefer traditional communication? No problem. We’re in touch on a weekly basis with phone calls, on-site meetings, email and updates including photos in your custom homeowner online portal.

Step 8: Final countdown

Months of construction, communication, and project management all lead to this moment — the walk-through of your completed home. We’ll personally teach you how to use each system within your new home, the air exchanger, the water softener, even the home theater! Don’t worry though, if you forget or have any questions, we’ll be right there ready to help.

Step 9: Customers for life

The day you move in isn’t the day we move out. Our mission at Evolutionary Homes is to provide you with customer service for life. From annual maintenance, to handyman repair services, we want to be your first choice for the upkeep of your new home’s comfort, value, and your peace of mind.

 In 2011 we built our dream home. Right before construction began, we were introduced to Nathan Murphy who would be our “construction foreman.” He would be the man we would contact about any problem or question or issue we had concerning our new home. It took no time to realize what a “gem” he was.

We lived a couple blocks away from the construction site, so we were there at least 3 times a day overseeing and questioning EVERYTHING —decisions, timing—EVERYTHING. Nathan was unbelievably patient with us. He always took time to explain what was happening and why. He answered all my texts immediately. But more than that, having built so many beautiful houses over the years, he offered wonderful suggestions about things we had never thought to do. It wasn’t long before we became friends.

 My husband and I had been told many times that building a home would be a huge stress on our marriage. We went in expecting that, but Nathan and his team turned it into a pleasant experience. If we were going to build again, we would both want Nathan to oversee everything for us!
